Freehit APK: there isn't one

No APK, no app store listing, no price. Freehit is a website that plays in a phone's browser, and the only "install" it has is the home-screen icon Chrome offers, which downloads nothing. Any file called a Freehit APK was made by somebody else, for their own reasons.

The free route: add Freehit to the home screen in a tap or three.

Why no APK

An APK would add a download, the unknown-sources setting and a file to keep updated, and it would play the very same channels the browser already plays. The site gains nothing from one, and a reader gains nothing but risk. The browser version runs full screen from its icon, needs no permission and is always current, because it is the site itself.

If a file was already installed

Uninstall it from Android's Settings, under Apps. Then open freehit.st in Chrome: that is the real Freehit, and it never asks for a card, a login or a permission. If the file demanded any of those, it was not from here.

Questions

Someone is selling a "Freehit premium APK"

There is nothing to sell. Freehit has one version, the free one at freehit.st. Pay nobody for it.

Does the browser version work on a tablet or Chromebook?

Yes. Any device with Chrome, Samsung Internet, Firefox or Edge opens freehit.st and plays the matches; the home-screen icon is a phone and tablet convenience only.

The player is black on the phone

Allow a few seconds, then tap play once. Still black? A content blocker, a VPN or a private DNS can hold the player's scripts back; switch it off for freehit.st and reload.
